Pastor's Aides & Armour Bearers

Our duty as a pastor's aide and amour bearer is very important. We shall be prayerful, spiritually minded and ready at all times for our Pastor. While on duty we should let nothing distract us from doing our job, which is aiding our Pastor.  We are to put the needs of the pastor ahead of everyone else.  Anything the pastor needs, as a pastor aid we shall ensure she/he gets it (water, Juice, Mints, etc.).  I Timothy 5:8 says For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn.  And, the labourer is worthy of his reward.

Ushers

As an usher we shall be prayerful at all times.  We are the greeters, meeters and seaters for the church.  With these duties we shall fulfill our assignment in a Christlike way.  We shall be very alert and aware of our surroundings at all times.  I Cor 14:40 says Let all things be done decently and in order.  It is important to keep law and order in the house of God.  

As an usher we love our job, Psalms 84:10 says For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand.  I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
